This one-day BusinessObjects Performance Manager XI course enables you to create scorecards that, by aligning with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track performance across the enterprise. Building on existing BusinessObjects Dashboard Manager knowledge, this course provides demonstrations and hands-on activities that take you from building goals to automating goal-based alerts through rules.
As a business benefit, you will be moving beyond tracking historical performance to mapping out strategies for future performance and aligning goals that can then be monitored against actual data.

The main addition to Performance Manager XI R2 is there is now an option to populate target and tolerance values for goals using a universe query, as well as by using auto-fill methods.
A more subtle change is that several analytics - Speedometers, Interactive Metric Trends, Goal Subscription and Alert Panels - have a sleeker appearance and the workflow simplified.
Overall, the process to create goals and goal-based analytics remains the same; so aside from the addition of query-based goals, the content of this course is entirely relevant for Performance Manager XI R1 as well.
The target audience for this course is Performance Management designers who are comfortable working in Dashboard Manager and need to create goal-based analytics, strategies and alerts to display for business users through corporate dashboard applications.
