John Woodburn, President

John WoodburnJohn D. Woodburn founded Woodburn Group in 1989 with the goal to improve organizations through efficient and effective Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. He was named one of the 100 most influential people in accounting technology in America by Accounting Today. He co-authored the AICPA Strategic Business Initiative and is chair of the AICPA Electronic Business Task Force. In 2000 he was selected to serve on the AICPA Top Ten Technology Group which establishes the technologies that will most impact the CPA profession. Woodburn is a former CPA and worked at Ernst & Young and was a controller for Proex Photo Systems prior to founding Woodburn Group. He received his B.A. in Accounting and French from Gustavus Adolphus College.
